A new Pew poll finds that 60 percent of Americans blame our overseas wars the most for our national debt. Meanwhile, only 24 percent say “increased spending on domestic problems has contributed greatly to the nation’s debt.” Matt Yglesias notes that the public is confused about what is the primary driver of the deficits.
