House Overwhelmingly Passes Resolution Urging Palestinians To Drop U.N. Statehood Bid | By a vote of 407-6, the House of Representatives voted this evening to pass a resolution calling for a negotiated settlement to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict and urging Palestinians to drop their planned bid for statehood at the United Nations. 13 Members of Congress answered “present” and six did not vote.
