In an interview as part of a National Geographic Channel documentary about the 9/11 attacks, former President George W. Bush said he had no “strategy” in his post 9/11 policy-making. “September the 11th [...] caused me to make many decisions. Some of which were extremely controversial. All of which were designed to protect the homeland,” he said. “I didn’t have a strategy. I was living day by day.”
