Bolton: ‘I’ve Decided Not To Run For President’ | War hawk John Bolton had been mulling a run for the presidency over the past few months. And keeping on his pledge to announce after Labor Day, Bolton said on Fox New tonight that he will not be running. “I’ve decided not to run for president. And my view has not changed one iota, that we need a much more robust discussion on national security issues as part of this campaign.” Bolton said he will still be engaged in the process and try to get national security debates inserted more in the presidential debates.
