Poll: 62 Percent Say Iraq War Wasn’t Worth Fighting

Seventy-eight percent of Americans support President Obama’s order to withdraw U.S. forces from Iraq by the end of the year, according to a Washington-Post ABC News poll. While the decision to withdraw from Iraq receives broad public support, attitudes toward the war itself remain negative. Sixty-two percent of all respondents and 66 percent of independents said the war was not worth its costs. Only 33 percent said the war was worth fighting:
