Iraq Troops Home In Time For Christmas | A week ago, the last U.S. troops rolled out of Iraq into Kuwait. Today, all but a small handful of the last combat brigade from Iraq, where the U.S.-led coalition fought a war for nearly 9 years, arrived home to Fort Hood, Texas, in time to celebrate Christmas and the New Year with their families. 200 of the troops from the brigade arrived home, leaving only about a dozen deployed overseas.
