Today on ABC’s Top Line, host Jonathan Karl asked actor Martin Sheen — more fondly known as President Bartlet (D-NH) from NBC’s The West Wing — how his alter ego would handle the current crisis. Harkening back to a Season 6 episode, Bartlet says, “I think I shut down the government if I’m not mistaken. And I walked up Pennsylvania Avenue to the Hill and waited in the speaker’s office and if that’s required I’ll do that again as well.” Watch it:
