Walsh Confirms He Has Been Taking Debt Ceiling Advice From RedState’s Erick Erickson | On Monday, Redstate’s Erick Erickson wrote that he has been receiving “call after call after call from members of the United States Congress” seeking permission on a potential debt ceiling deal. (The conservative blogger has denied permission.) Though Erickson did not reveal whom he’d spoken with, ThinkProgress found one such member today: Rep. Joe Walsh (R-IL). Walsh confirmed that he has spoken with Erickson multiple times, calling Redstate a “great” organization and parroting Erickson’s advice, “hold the line.”
