Atlanta Mayor Kasim Reed Gives Occupy Atlanta Until 5 P.M. On Monday To Leave | The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports today that Kasim Reed, the mayor of Atlanta, Georgia plans to issue an executive order that would force Occupy Atlanta to vacate Woodruff Park by 5 p.m. on Monday. This five-day ultimatum comes after Occupy Atlanta held its first General Assembly this past Friday. Reed’s behavior is significantly different than New York City mayor Michael Bloomberg, who has signaled that he will allow protesters to stay in Zuccotti Park indefinitely.
