"VIDEO: Librarian Facing Student Loan Payments Of $600 A Month Joins Occupy Atlanta"

Tonight, Atlanta Mayor Kasim Reed will decide whether to evict the hundreds of Georgians who have encamped in Woodruff Park as a part of Occupy Atlanta. In order to show the importance of the movement to the wider public, Occupy Atlanta is posting interviews with demonstrators on its website. In a video posted over the weekend, librarian Christine Fraser explained why she decided to join the demonstrations. She says she’s “terrified” of her student loan payments which will begin soon and require her to pay 600 to 700 dollars a month and that she wants politicians to care about people like her:
