Occupy Cleveland Wins The Right To Stay 24 Hours A Day | Today, representatives from Occupy Cleveland met with the city and Judge Dan Aaron Polster in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Ohio to discuss how long protesters could stay in Public Square in Cleveland. At the end of the meeting, the judge granted them the right to stay 24 hours a day. “This will enable them to exercise all their constitutional rights … without fear of being prosecuted under an ordinance that would otherwise prohibit them from being there after 10 p.m.,” said J. Michael Murray, a lawyer for Occupy Cleveland.
