Yesterday afternoon, Occupy Boston tried to bring a winterized tent into its encampment to help brave the plummeting temperatures in the city. But Boston police threatened to seize the tent, and Occupy Boston decided to take it away. “There is currently a court order in place that says nothing can be added or amended, and we’re looking to enforce that,” said Boston Parks and Recreation’s John Bailey. Watch a city official use the “mic check” system of the protesters to explain why the tent was not being allowed into Dewey Square:
