PHOTO: New York Demonstrators ‘Squidding’ Goldman Sachs | Today, in addition to thousands marching on the West Coast to shut down ports connected to Goldman Sachs, hundreds of demonstrators are marching against the bank in New York City. Protesters are using the #squidding hashtag on Twitter, referring to Rolling Stone’s Matt Taibbi calling Goldman Sachs a “great vampire squid wrapped around the face of humanity.” Here’s a picture of demonstrators carrying a mock squid:
