Romneycare Mentioned In Today’s Supreme Court Debate Over Individual Mandate | After today’s two-hour long argument over the individual mandate before the Supreme Court, a few Democratic Senators who witnessed the events spoke with the media. Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Patrick Leahy (D-VT) revealed that, in his final argument defending Obamacare, the Solicitor General of the United States referenced Romneycare in Massachusetts as a reason for uploading the federal law.
