General Ashfaq Pervez Kayani will take over as head of the military, and he’s someone who’s liked in American defense circles since he went to Fort Leavenworth, etc., and “has played a prominent role in cooperating with the United States in the fight against terrorism in Pakistan and is expected to continue that policy.”
