Mark Halperin proclaims John Podesta the most important person in American politics not running for president. In other words, he’s the third most important person in politics. Which Nancy Pelosi and Ben Bernanke probably deem disappointing. But since I work at Podesta’s think tank, it’s exciting for me. And it ought to make you tremble in fear of my blog. Suffice it to say that I do, as rumored, possess vast influence over the transition process (technically, I’m the ninth most important person in America) and have the ability to reward friends and punish enemies. Anyone who’s ever complained about typos in the comments section is going to Gitmo.
