Some time ago, I was musing about the prospect of imposing a 95 percent marginal tax rate on income above $10 million. Over at The Economist, Thomas Piketty, who’s an economist and everything, says we should consider an 80 percent rate on folks making more than two million euros, so ideas in this basic neighborhood seem to have some support from scholars.
