Over the past few months, I’ve been mostly doing my article-writing on Google Aps, which I find to be really useful since I can access the document from any computer and since Google’s remote servers are presumably more secure than any laptop hard drive could ever be. But on Friday I got invited to a lunch talk at Google’s DC headquarters, which wound up having the non-intended impact of making me feel weirded-out by how dependent I’d become on Google.
So over the weekend I tried out something different and used the Zoho Writer ap on Zoho.com and it’s good. Better than Google’s offering, I would even say. Not sure about the rest of their offering yet, but I’m going to explore.
