A young and naïve colleague was just asking me for recommendations about DC’s restaurant week. My main recommendation is to listen to Ezra Klein and recognize that restaurant week is rarely actually a good deal. If you place a very low value on your time, then doing extensive research will reveal a few bargains worth going for, but most places most of the time it’s not worth it. Just go to a restaurant some other time and don’t order desert.
