It’s interesting to contrast the reception of the Peace Prize news in the US media to what they’re showing right now on BBC World News. In both America and internationally, a wide swathe of people are a bit dubious. But in America the people who are really outraged are conservative Republicans. In a global sense, however, the folks who are really upset are from various quarters of the Muslim world, especially Pakistanis and Palestinians.
