Justin Fox observes that the employment to population ratio of men aged 25-55 is at the lowest level since they started keeping records:
In addition to the terrible state of the current labor market, it’s interesting to note the long-term trend toward declining employment among men. Sky-high unemployment is bad, but more people getting extra education or more men taking responsibility for child-rearing and household tasks is good.
