To follow-up on yesterday’s Gore Derangement Syndrome post, my colleague Joe Romm has a post featuring a graph Gore showed, a release from several scientific institutions, illustrating the arctic ice volume situation:

As you would expect, there are a few different ways you can project the trend, but the projections all go in the same basic neighborhood—frightening levels of ice loss.

Meanwhile, as you’ve no doubt noticed health care has tended to overshadow the climate policy debate in the United States this year. I think that’s too bad, but that’s the decision the powers that be made. So this week, my blog has been much more health care than Copenhagen. But both Climate Progress and the Wonk Room have lots of Copencoverage.
