Thanks to everyone who sent me a copy of “Anti-Lemons: School Reputation and Educational Quality”. And double thanks to the person who showed me how to gain free access to these papers on a permanent basis.

Meanwhile, one really has to ask if there’s any point to NBER trying to charge people $5 to download papers. They already give them away for free to the vast majority of people who might be interested.
