When news broke that Rep. Mark Souder (R-Florida) would be retiring from the House of Representatives and admit to having an affair with a staffer, I heard someone joke this morning that congressional sex scandals aren’t interesting anymore unless there’s a gay angle. But TPM’s Justin Elliott digs up an even better angle. Not only is Rep Souder a bigtime abstinence education advocate, he recorded a video on the subject with his misstress.
