It’s interesting to read about the iPad being introduced in select international markets today given that I saw iPads on sale earlier this week in Yiwu, China. It’s especially interesting because China’s not even one of the markets the iPad is now supposed to be released in! Indeed, the packaging on the iPads they had in Yiwu pretty clearly indicated that the product was intended for the U.S. market—the writing was all in English, for example. I can only assume that someone had a stash of them diverted somewhere between Foxconn and the United States.
