— The Wall Street worldview.

— Pau Gasol looking to play in Spain.

— Ellen Johnson Sirleaf, Leymah Gbowee, and Tawakul Karman share Nobel Peace Prize.

— Africa is growing quite strongly.

— Chinese wages are rising and about 3 million jobs are expected to “re-shore” to the USA as a result.

— I’d say the bigger trend is that richer Chinese workers will buy more stuff, including stuff made by foreigners.
