The latest New York Times poll asks about a lot of different possible job creation strategies:
I join the American people in basically welcoming all of these ideas as potentially useful. That said, you see here the strange sentimentalization of small business. Most people work for big firms. If small firms are to add a lot of jobs, it would be by becoming large. I don’t think there’s a compelling reason to think that business taxation is a particularly powerful tool for job creation, but if it is, we may as well use it on firms of all sizes.
