The big story out of night three of the RNC was Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) getting booed of the stage for not endorsing Donald Trump during his speech. Hours later, Cruz spoke at a breakfast event.
During the Thursday morning breakfast, the Texas delegation grilled Cruz about why he’s not supporting Trump. Cruz said he intended to abide by the promise he made to support whoever ended up winning the Republican presidential nomination, up until Trump suggested his wife Heidi isn’t attractive and his father might’ve had something to do with JFK’s assassination.

Cruz didn’t totally slam the door on supporting Trump, however. Earlier during the breakfast event, he ruled out voting for Hillary Clinton. On the topic of whether he’ll vote for Trump, he said “I am watching, I am listening.”
