A Connecticut K-12 Christian school known as The Master’s School has forced a student out after learning she was a lesbian. A rising senior, Rachel Aviles had pretended to be married to another girl on a class trip last spring. The school directly asked her about her sexual orientation, then gave her the option to withdraw or be expelled. The Master’s School’s motto is “Veritas Vos Liberabit” — “The truth will set you free” — and in Aviles’ case, it might have done just that.
