Gay Boy Scouts Mom: ‘The Policy Needs To Change To Include All Americans’

MSNBC’s Thomas Roberts interviewed Ohio mom Jen Tyrrell this afternoon, who was ousted as her son’s den leader from the Boy Scouts for being gay. Tyrrell said that the response from the community and the other Boy Scout moms has been “amazing.” “I’m still in constant contact with all those parents. They continue to send messages of support and e-mails. You know, begrudgingly speak to the media on my behalf. So everybody is really is pulling through and I appreciate that,” she said, adding that “the policy needs to be changed to include all Americans.
