George Zimmerman, the man who shot 17 year-old Trayvon Martin while Martin was carrying a bag of Skittles and an ice tea through Zimmerman’s neighborhood, allegedly threatened to kill another man after he grew angry during a road rage incident.

According to a police spokesperson, Zimmerman pulled his truck alongside the other man and yelled “why are you pointing a finger at me?” The Trayvon Martin shooter then also allegedly asked the other driver “Do you know who I am?” before telling him that “I’ll fucking kill you.”

The next day, the driver called 911, “claiming that Zimmerman was waiting for him at work and that he feared for his safety.”

This is the third time police have investigated allegations of violent behavior against Zimmerman since he was acquitted on murder and manslaughter charges for the killing of Trayvon Martin. About a year ago, Zimmerman allegedly threatened his estranged wife, Shellie, and her father with a knife, punched his father-in-law in the nose, and pulled a gun at her parents’ house a few days after she filed for divorce. In a 911 call placed by Shellie, she claimed that Zimmerman “continuously has his hand on his gun and he keeps saying ‘get closer,’” though she later declined to press charges.

About two months later, in November of 2013, police arrested Zimmerman for aggravated assault and battery after he allegedly pointed a shotgun at his girlfriend and domestic partner. These charges were dropped, however, after the girlfriend changed her story.
