Have you used the Climate Science Rapid Response Team (CSRRT) yet?

These folks have:

The Climate Science Rapid Response Team (CSRRT) is a match-making service between top scientists and members of the media and office holders and their staffs from various levels of government.

I’m doing another post on them because repetition is the sincerest form of messaging — and because they have amped up their website (click here), which explains:

The group of climate scientists who are members of the Climate Science Rapid Response Team have been chosen to cover almost all the diverse areas of Climate Science. They have been selected for their expertise based upon their extensive original research as evidenced by their publications in professional peer-reviewed scientific journals. The group is committed to providing rapid, high-quality information to media and government officials.

There is a sharp divide between what scientists know about climate change and what the public knows. The scientists of the CSRRT understand that better communication can narrow this gap. The media is in the best position to deliver accurate science information to the general public and to our elected leaders but only if they are provided with that information. The CSRRT is committed to delivering that service. We are advocates for science education.

Media and government officials are encouraged to send requests using our enquiry form. For those who are not media or government contacts but have questions regarding climate, please visit Central Coast Climate Science Education or Skeptical Science. These sites can answer most questions. Only media and government officials should use this form.

The CSRRT is a volunteer enterprise and receives no funding.

Kudos to the CSRRT. Who ya gonna call?
