Heading to Minneapolis

Tomorrow I’ll be heading out to the Twin Cities for Netroots Nation. The highlight of the conference will obviously be the panel I’m moderating on Thursday Morning at 10:30 a.m. It’s all about the Federal Reserve and features Kat Aaron, Mike Konczal, and Tim Ferholtz. Awesome stuff. You should be there. We’ll talk, we’ll debate, we’ll answer questions, hopefully everyone will learn a thing or two, including the panelists.

Meanwhile, if you have experience with the Minneapolis area I’d be very interested in recommendations for bars, eateries, or other things worth doing. I’ll be staying downtown without a car, so recommendations right in the downtown area would be most appreciated, but it’s always possible to get some wheels for something worthwhile. I’ve been to the Twin Cities once before but was staying way out in Brooklyn Center and was primarily there to cover the Republican National Convention in St. Paul, so I don’t have much exposure to actual Minneapolis.
