Heartland Institute Documents

On Feburary 14, 2012, an unknown source provided ThinkProgress with internal documents from the Heartland Institute, a corporate-funded right-wing think tank involved in climate, health care, telecommunications, and education policy, and Midwest politics. Heartland has issued a press release claiming that some of these documents were sent to an outsider under false pretenses and that one document in the set is a fake. ThinkProgress does not know the identity of the anonymous source of the documents or his or her connection, if any, to Heartland.
