How society silences victims of sexual harassment

2017 has been a year of reckoning for victims of sexual harassment from some of America’s biggest household names. Behemoths like Bill O’Reilly and Kevin Spacey have been brought down by a newfound unity and solidarity giving victims the courage to speak up for the first time.

But why is it so hard for victims to speak up? And what happens after someone does speak out? More often than not, not much.
