Israel, Hamas Reportedly Agree To Ceasefire

Reuters is reporting that Hamas and Israel, apparently unilaterally, have agreed to a ceasefire. Reports of an agreement yesterday fell through as violence continued throughout the evening and into today when a bomb exploded on a bus in Tel Aviv. “Israel as agreed to a truce but will not life the blockade” of Gaza, Reuters says on Twitter. The deal, which comes after Secretary of State Hillary Clinton arrived in the region yesterday to meet with Israeli and Egyptian leaders, is expected to be announced this afternoon.
