Libby wants probation (and maybe community service).

Lawyers for Scooter Libby urged a federal judge today to “spare him from prison on his felony conviction for his role in a C.I.A. leak investigation,” recommending Libby “be given probation, possibly with community service, when he is sentenced on Tuesday.” Their court filing describing Libby begins, “Distinguished public servant.
