The Pew Research Center’s Project for Excellence in Journalism surveys mainstream media coverage of various topics. Yesterday, it released an analysis of 52 different major media outlets and found that coverage of Occupy Wall Street has shot up dramatically. Pew notes that from Sept. 26 to Oct. 2, only 2 percent of total news coverage among these outlets. By Oct. 6, this coverage increased by six times, reaching 12 percent.
