“I’m not of the crowd that human activity is the cause of global warming,” Republican presidential candidate Rep. Michele Bachmann (R-MN) said at a New Hampshire campaign rally today, after someone in the audience shouted that global warming is real. Bachmann’s denial of scientific fact puts her in the mainstream of the Republican Party, although candidates Mitt Romney and Jon Huntsman have recently acknowledged the reality of manmade climate change.
