Mississippi Joins Lawsuit To Stop Deportation Deferrals For DREAMers

Gov. Phil Bryant (R-MS) joined a lawsuit this week challenging President Obama’s directive that protects DREAM Act-eligible young undocumented immigrants from deportation. In the spring, Mississippi Republicans tried to push through a harmful immigration bill, but it failed in the state Senate.
