– Democrats are gathering in Charlotte, North Carolina for their convention this week, where they’ll make the case for why America should be re-elect President Obama and his fellow Democrats. This weekend, Romney’s campaign pushed the question of whether Americans are better off than they were four years ago. Charlotte will be the Democrats’ chance to answer that.  – The Convention this week will feature speakers who work or worked for companies controlled by Bain Capital. The private equity firm founded by Mitt Romney has come under scrutiny this election season for its practice of outsourcing jobs and shuttering businesses.
