During an interview with a conservative podcast, New Hampshire state Rep. JR Hoell (R) predicted that a day may soon come when conservatives need to rise up in armed resistance to their elected government. “If things continue the way they are,” he told the GrokTALK podcast, “there may be a day or a time where firearms and ammo are necessary. It happened in the Revolutionary War. I’d like to think we’re not there yet, but as things continue to unravel, that may be the next step.”
The context of Hoell’s remarks was a discussion of former Sen. Scott Brown (R-MA) potentially relocating to New Hampshire to seek a senate seat from that state. Hoell objects to Brown becoming his party’s candidate because he views Brown as too liberal.
