While Ferguson, Missouri, erupted in protest Monday night over the decision not to indict officer Darren Wilson in the killing on Michael Brown, simultaneous solidarity protests took place around the country. In the nation’s capital, demonstrations primarily centered around the White House.

The next morning, the nearby campus of the George Washington University was scrawled with powerful messages from protesters, demanding justice for Michael Brown:
