POLL: Marylanders Set To Uphold Marriage Equality

A new Washington Post poll shows that Question 6, a ballot measure to approve Maryland’s new marriage equality law, is set to pass with 52 percent support and 43 percent opposition. Among those who offered their position, 35 percent their religious beliefs had the biggest influence on whether they supported marriage equality, more than any other influence. Several other polls have shown more people support than oppose the measure, with results like 49–39, 51–43, and 54–40.
