POLL: Nearly Two-Thirds Of Americans Support Obama’s Jobs Bill

Sixty-three percent of Americans support President Obama’s jobs bill, according to a new NBC News/Wall Street Journal poll. The bill is paid for with a surtax on millionaires and 64 percent of respondents agree that it’s a “good idea” to raise taxes on the wealthy and corporations to fund government programs. Only 30 percent opposed the tax. But Senate Republicans used the filibuster to block the bill last night.
