Fox News is not wasting any time being outraged by the new Democratic House.

Referring to President Donald Trump, Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-MI) said “We are going to go in there and impeach the motherfucker!” to raucous applause at an event on Thursday night.

Cue the outrage from Fox & Friends.

On Friday, Trump’s favorite morning news source lambasted Tlaib for her remarks.

“The civility really does impress me, I have to say, right from the start,” Jedediah Bila said sarcastically minutes into the broadcast.

“For Democrats who say this president is uncivil, he went over the line, inappropriate behavior for an elected official — you look at what she said at that MoveOn.org event last night, and you just say that was rough language,” said Fox News host Steve Doocy, who seemed alarmed that Tlaib had mentioned her son shortly before calling Trump a “motherfucker.”

The segment ended with some concern-trolling, as Bila cautioned the new Democratic House majority to “focus on policy, not investigation” of Trump.

Fox & Friends did not seem nearly as concerned about civility while broadcasting a racist meme about former President Barack Obama, spreading conspiracy theories to discredit a victim of alleged sexual assault, dehumanizing a transgender Democratic candidate, echoing white supremacist rhetoric, claiming that “all terrorists are Muslims,” promoting a racist conspiracy theory about Obama, or joking about former NFL player Ray Rice’s assault of his then-girlfriend.

Despite the conservative outrage, Tlaib is not backing down from her comments.
