Reality Check

Guys, I need your help with something. While somewhat zoned out last night, I found myself watching Real Housewives of New York, and was mysteriously unable to stop. And I think I kind of like Bethanny Frankel. Is that wrong? Have I misjudged the show’s dynamics entirely? I know the Skinnygirl thing is obnoxious, and she sure does seem like she carries a lot of drama around with her. But she wears fantastic clothes (I would murder for the purple dress she wore in last night’s episode), and has these great, dissolving eyes when she cries, which she seems to be doing a lot this season, and she seems, despite the obnoxious public wedding and things, like someone who could sustain a serious career outside of reality television. And I kind of like that.
