Rep. Jerry Nadler (D-NY) and a number of his Democratic Party colleagues in the House of Representatives have introduced a bill to eliminate the debt ceiling, saying that the measure is needed after the House Republicans successfully held the ceiling hostage for budget cuts over the summer.
