Sen. Klobuchar echoes Bayh’s call for Lieberman to apologize.

On Wednesday night, Sen. Evan Bayh (D-IN) told MSNBC’s Rachel Maddow he expected Sen. Joe Lieberman (I-CT) to apologize for for his ad hominem attacks on Barack Obama, including questioning Obama’s patriotism and wondering whether Obama was a Marxist. Last night, Sen. Amy Klobuchar (D-MN) echoed Bayh’s call for an apology from Lieberman, and said the question of Lieberman’s “role” in the caucus is “something that we’re all going to have to decide together.” Watch it:

Klobuchar was quick to add, however, that if it were up to her, Lieberman wouldn’t be going anywhere: “I would like him to remain in our caucus.”
