CNN has finally fired Jeffrey Lord, a Trump supporter and contributor to the network, after Lord tweeted a Nazi salute at a liberal activist Thursday.

“Nazi salutes are indefensible,” a CNN spokesperson said in a statement. “Jeffrey Lord is no longer with the network.”
But Lord has been stirring controversy on CNN’s airwaves for months now.
Here are six Jeffrey Lord moments the network apparently found defensible:
1. Saying the KKK had a “progressive agenda”
Members of the KKK, Lord said on CNN, were Democrats. “Don’t hide and say that’s not part of the base of the Democratic Party,” Lord said. “They were the military arm, the terrorist arm of the Democratic Party, according to historians. For God’s sake read your history.”
Lord also suggested the KKK used to kill black people “to further the progressive agenda.”
2. Asking a black panelist when his party would “apologize for slavery.”
“You support Donald Trump. Why don’t you apologize to the Central Park Five? Why don’t you apologize to Miss Mae Wiggins, who was discriminated against,” Bakari Sellers asked, but she was cut off by Lord, who said, “When is Bakari going to get around to apologizing for slavery? I’m still waiting on that.”
3. Saying Trump’s comments encouraging police brutality were “a New Yorker sense of humor“
“I mean, I have to say, he’s a New Yorker, standing in front of New Yorkers on Long Island. My whole family’s from there, that’s the way they talk. That’s the New Yorker sense of humor,” Lord said.
In a speech, flanked by cops, Trump said police should be rougher when making arrests. His comments were denounced by a number of police forces around the country — but not Lord! Lord thought we were just becoming a “humorless” society.
4. Saying Black Lives Matter “provoked” Neo-Nazi group into existence
“The left, whether it’s Black Lives Matter or La Raza, I mean you can go back and back and back,” Lord said. “Groups that identify themselves by race provoked this group to identify by race. This is America.”
5. Defending Trump’s sexist behavior
…to Mar-a-Lago 3 nights in a row around New Year's Eve, and insisted on joining me. She was bleeding badly from a face-lift. I said no!

After Trump tweeted that Morning Joe host Mika Brezezinski was “bleeding badly from a facelift,” Lord turned the attack back on the media, as Trump supporters are wont to do.
“There is another world out there, I mean, this business that this is misogynistic, I find that so patronizing of Mika Brzezinski. She’s a liberal talk radio, or talk TV host. Like any guy,” Lord said. “So if he would say these things about a guy, why not her?”
Media Matters found that Lord made 21 inaccurate statements in 13 appearances to discuss the topic of voter fraud in the month of June alone. A year and one day ago, on Brian Stelter’s show, Stelter interrupted Lord when he tried to say he was “worried the election could be stolen.”
Stelter cut Lord off before he could go further, saying, “Please, please don’t do that to our viewers. Please don’t do that to our country at this moment in time.”
Finally, CNN has cut him off for good.
